New payment gateway: Quickbooks Merchant Services

Happy Friday everyone! This is just a quick post to let you know that Spiffy Stores now supports Intuit’s Quickbooks Merchant Services payment gateway to accept credit card payments in your online store.

You can select this gateway in the “Checkout & Payment” section of your store’s preferences, where you’ll also find some handy setup instructions to get you up and running.

  1. I’m planning to build an online store that sells branded MP3s. While browsing the Internet, however, I read that online website owners need to have a payment gateway service from a company that offers this service. I can’t help but wonder : why should I get a payment gateway service?

    • Hi. You need to have some sort of payment processing to be able to receive orders online. Many store owners use PayPal… it’s easy to set up, and many people trust it… but by far the most professional and easy to manage approach is to use a payment gateway.
