If you have issues uploading images in your store, it may be because Silverlight is not updated to the proper version or is corrupt. You may run into the following issues:

  • Nothing happens when you click the upload button
  • You may be able to select an image, but it doesn't upload and has a "please wait..." button.

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Uninstall Silverlight

On a PC

  1. Reboot your computer
  2. Close out of all internet browsers
  3. Click your computer’s Start Menu
  4. Click Control Panel
  5. Go to Add or Remove Programs
  6. Scroll to find Microsoft Silverlight
  7. Click on Microsoft Silverlight and then click Uninstall

On a Mac

  1. Reboot your computer
  2. Close out of all internet browsers
  3. Double click on the hard drive icon on your desktop
  4. Navigate to your Internet Plug-Ins: /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/
  5. Drag Silverlight.plugin into your trash bin
  6. Drag WPFe.plugin into the trash bin if you see it in your Plug-Ins folder
  7. Empty your trash bin

Step 2: Reinstall Silverlight

  1. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight
  2. Click Install to install Silverlight back onto your computer, and follow the instructions there.
