Configuring AI Settings in your Spiffy Store

The AI Settings page allows you to configure and manage your store’s AI-powered features, including the AI Chatbot. You can customise the chatbot’s behaviour, appearance, and integration settings to enhance your customers’ shopping experience.

Accessing the AI Settings Page

  1. Log in to your store’s admin panel.
  1. From the top menu, go to Preferences → AI Settings.
  1. The AI Settings page will open, showing all configuration options for your store’s AI features.

AI Chatbot

The AI Chatbot helps customers with product questions, order queries, and general information in real time. You can customise the chatbot’s name, greeting, colour, and position to match your brand identity.

Enable the AI Chatbot

To activate the chatbot on your store:

  1. Tick the checkbox labelled Enable AI Chatbot.
  1. Click Apply Settings at the bottom of the page.

This enables the chatbot widget on your storefront, allowing it to appear for visitors.

Enable this option to activate the AI Chatbot on your store, allowing it to assist customers with their inquiries and enhance their shopping experience.

Chatbot Name

Enter the name you want your chatbot to use when interacting with customers. This can be your brand name, a friendly alias, or any name that fits your store’s tone. For example: ShopBot, Luna, or Aussie Helper.

Customise the name of your AI Chatbot to reflect your brand.

Chatbot Greeting Message

This is the first message customers see when they open the chatbot. Use it to welcome customers and invite them to ask questions.

Chatbot Accent Colour

Choose a colour that matches your brand theme. This colour is used for the chatbot’s accent elements such as buttons and highlights. Click the colour field to open a colour picker and select your preferred shade.

Chatbot Position

Select where the chatbot should appear on your storefront. Use the drop-down menu to choose between available positions (for example, bottom right or bottom left).

AI Chatbot Email Integration

Your AI Chatbot can also assist in responding to customer emails and form submissions. This feature allows the chatbot to provide intelligent, automated replies to messages received via your Contact Us form or your store’s support email.

To enable:

  1. Tick the checkbox labelled Enable AI Chatbot Email Integration.
  1. Click Apply Settings to save changes.

This feature helps improve response times and ensures consistent customer communication.

Applying Your Settings

After you make any changes:

  1. Click the Apply Settings button at the bottom of the page.
  1. Wait for the confirmation message — this means your changes have been saved.

If you modify multiple settings, you can apply them all at once.

Troubleshooting

  • If your chatbot does not appear after enabling it, check that your browser is not preventing the chatbot widget from opening.
  • Ensure JavaScript is enabled in your browser.
