Managing products one at a time can be time-consuming, particularly for larger catalogues. Spiffy Stores includes a range of bulk management tools that allow you to update multiple products or variants simultaneously, helping you maintain consistency while significantly reducing the time spent on routine administration.
Bulk actions are available from both the Your Products and Inventory pages.
The process for using bulk actions is the same throughout the administration area.
- Use the search and filter options to display the products or variants you want to update.
- Select the required items using the checkboxes.
- Choose the appropriate action from the Bulk Actions dropdown list.
- Enter any additional information required for that action.
- Confirm the update.
Only the selected products or variants are modified.

Product Actions
Add Tags
Add one or more tags to all selected products.
Tags can be used to organise products, improve searching, assist with merchandising, or drive theme and application functionality.
When adding tags:
- Existing tags are preserved.
- Only the new tags are added.
- Duplicate tags are ignored automatically.
Remove Tags
Remove one or more tags from all selected products.
This is useful when:
- Ending promotional campaigns.
- Removing outdated classifications.
- Cleaning up product data.
Only the specified tags are removed. Any other tags assigned to the products remain unchanged.

Set Shipping Code
Assign a shipping code to all selected products.
Shipping codes are used by your configured shipping rates to calculate delivery costs.
Using this action allows you to quickly ensure that products sharing the same fulfilment requirements are charged correctly without editing each product individually.
Publish Products
Publish the selected products.
Hide Products
Hide the selected products.
Delete Products
Delete the selected products.
Variant Actions
Set Shipping Code
Assign a shipping code to all selected variants.
Shipping codes are used by your configured shipping rates to calculate delivery costs.
Using this action allows you to quickly ensure that products sharing the same fulfilment requirements are charged correctly without editing each variant individually.
Set Location Code
Assign a warehouse or storage location code to selected variants.
Location codes help staff:
- Locate stock more quickly.
- Improve picking accuracy.
- Speed up packing and fulfilment.
Set Weight
Update the weight of multiple variants at once.
Weights are entered using your shop's configured weight unit (for example kilograms or pounds).
Accurate product weights help ensure:
- Correct shipping charges.
- Accurate carrier calculations.
- Reduced shipping discrepancies.
Set Dimensions
Set the width, length and height for multiple variants.
Maintaining accurate dimensions allows shipping carriers to correctly calculate volumetric weight for larger or bulky items.
This helps avoid incorrect shipping charges.
Set Ship Separately
Specify whether selected variants must be shipped individually.
Enable this option for products that:
- Cannot safely be packed with other items.
- Require their own shipping carton.
- Need special handling during transport.
Set Free Shipping
Enable or disable free shipping for the selected variants.
This is useful for:
- Running shipping promotions.
- Offering free delivery on selected products.
- Removing free shipping when promotions finish.
